If USAID is So Great, Why Can’t We Audit It?

The idea that this agency is purely about "alleviating poverty" and "spreading democracy" is a fairy tale that only Beltway elites still believe. In reality, USAID has a long history of funding dubious NGOs that push woke ideology abroad and meddling in foreign politics under the guise of "development." So of course, when Musk calls it a "criminal organization" and Trump threatens to shut it down, the establishment media freaks out. They know that billions of taxpayer dollars are at stake—money that conveniently disappears into the hands of bureaucrats and their friends. If the media is this panicked, it probably means Musk and Trump are onto something. Maybe it’s time to audit where all that cash is actually going.
